This technician will support the PFAS project team, primarily focusing on CAD work, including updating and redesigning drawings and models to accommodate PFAS material changes. The role also involves hands-on support for testing activities in the R&D lab.
Top 3 Required Skills:
CAD Experience: Preferably with Creo.
Experience with Laboratory Test Equipment and Methods: Such as leak testers, pull testers, and microscopes.
Experience in Molding and the medical device industry would also be: Preferred but not required
Technical Skills:
Must Have:
Ability to troubleshoot design issues.
Develop and evaluate designs meeting defined product requirements.
Experience with laboratory test equipment and methods.
Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or Creo.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485:2003 for managing medical device materials, related processes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Understanding and experience in injection molding of medical devices, thermoplastic part design, and testing.
Experience:

Responsibilities:
Plan, layout, draw, and revise detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings.
Utilize CAD, CAM, CATIA, ProEngineer, or SolidWorks.
Complete details of major layout drawings per standard engineering drafting practices.
Determine scaling; insert necessary reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning.
Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
Contribute design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Conduct tests and report data in the prescribed format.
Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
Technician Support Career Stream:
