Team Description

We focus on solutions that work for our customers as well as implementing technologies that will simplify our customers’ journey. We bring the customer voice across the organization to ensure Dropbox delivers the best possible customer experience.


Role Description

Dropbox is seeking an exceptional Technical Program Manager to manage multiple programs and projects for the Customer Experience Team. This is a new, challenging, and highly visible position. CX TPMs are responsible for much of the heavy lifting on projects to ensure that our large scale projects are run efficiently and effectively. 



Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for identifying stakeholders, driving to set roadmaps and strategies for the program, driving delivery, reporting status, and holding the bar on quality. At Dropbox, TPMs handle complex inter-team dependencies and bridge the gaps in technical management.
  • You will need to work with many different domain resources from Product Managers, Engineers, Engineering Managers, UX Designers, Product Marketing, User Researchers, Product Analysts, Growth, Legal, etc.  
  • Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You will have a deep understanding of product design and implementation details and will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership and customers. Your technical acumen and operational excellence will influence the team decisions and drive secure and robust solutions which have great customer experience.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and comfortable presenting in large groups and handling high-pressure communication with senior management
  • Experience with managing large cross-functional projects with technical depth
  • Must have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle from concept to delivery
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering software development projects for Desktop, Web, and Mobile
  • Experience working with new product organizations

US Zone 1$148,800—$201,200 USDUS Zone 2$133,900—$181,100 USDUS Zone 3$119,000—$161,000 USDIreland Pay Range€79.100—€106.900 EUR

The range(s) listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE for this role, subject to change.


Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.


Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).


Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington DC metro, and West Virginia (DC metro)
• US Zone 3: All other US locations
