Job Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking a Systems Engineer to help the F 35 Joint Program Office (in Arlington, VA) transform F-35 maintenance systems to increase F-35 combat capabilities. As a Systems Engineer supporting F-35 Maintenance Systems, you will help the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) fulfill its mission developing, testing, producing, fielding, and sustaining dominant 5th generation fighter capabilities for the United States military services and our allies around the world.
Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and updates of Capabilities Needs Statements (CNS) including reviewing existing capabilities with the US Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps, and Partner countries; determining capability gaps; adjudicating feedback received; and updating, coordinating, and submitting the CNS for approval
Assisting the F-35 JPO's Maintenance Systems (MxS) Program Management Office (PMO) to effectively use Model Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering. Train staff in MBSE tools and methods; review the F-35 Reference Architecture; update the Configuration Management approach; and demonstrate accounting for Test and Evaluation execution in model-based environments
Developing a Requirements Management Plan for managing F-35 Maintenance Systems requirements using the adaptive acquisition framework to develop the Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) which is replacing the legacy Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
Coordinating and execute the Quarterly Stakeholder Workshops (QSW) to discuss new capabilities and prioritize requirements for the ALIS to ODIN transition with the US Services and Partner countries
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering
10-years Systems Engineering experience focused on the design, integration, and management of complex systems over their entire lifecycle
Experienced in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing engineering reports, test plans, test reports, and other data, including specifications
Knowledge and competency in one or more of the following areas:
System architecture design and evaluation
Systems and software requirement analysis and allocation
System and subsystem level hardware-software integration
Computer systems architecture
Systems and subsystems test and evaluation
SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
