Systems Analyst (Healthcare IT)

13 Month Contract-to-hire


As part of the Elevate program, you will play a key role in supporting and developing Trizetto & Health Edge software in enterprise client environments. This is a 13 month contract-to-hire engagement where you will be provided extensive training prior to and throughout employment. As an Analyst joining this program, you will be responsible for supporting enterprise healthcare clients through a world-renowned consulting company.


Following a 5-week paid training program, you will work to effectively configure and optimize the Trizetto Facets/HealthEdge platforms to enhance data processing, storage, and retrieval capabilities. This data will consist of Billing, Enrollment and Claims Data/Processing. You will assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of quality data and Trizetto/Healthedge products and software solutions while working on an Agile team and assisting colleagues from all disciplines. You help in the design, development, and testing of various payers solutions on Accenture’s Trizetto/HealthEdge products.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field OR equivalent professional or Military experience
  • Strong proficiency using SQL
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Healthcare experience a plus
  • Experiencing with ETL processing a plus
  • Motivated to learn a new technical skillset & software
  • Up to 20% travel required


Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare operations
  • Knowledge of Medicare regulations, compliance, and reimbursement methodologies.
  • Experience with Healthcare Payor Core Applications
  • Experience participating in CMS compliance audits
  • Proficiency in managing multiple complex customizations client arrangements
  • Unified Modeling Language (UML) or equivalent is a plus


Responsibilities:

  • Iterative software, data design techniques, data modeling principles, testing, best practices
  • Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications and long-term solutions
  • Reverse engineer existing system of record and conduct bottom-up analysis of existing systems and data models
  • Coordinate with development teams to create conceptual data models and data flows
  • Develop best practices for data modeling to ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality
  • Develop data strategies and solution approaches, conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Generate documentation as needed to support process and procedures documents for operational support, lessons learned, diagrams, systems administration guidelines, system set-up documentation, integration test plans, and results
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (nominally Scrum or Kanban)
  • Actively communicate with users and team to provide technical support
