Job Description
Maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Developing supplier performance metrics, tracking KPIs, and driving improvements
Resolving supplier non-conformances in the production process by identifying the root cause and implementing solutions
Assist with external audits
Travel on-site to suppliers
Assisting with the application and monitoring of established inspection procedures and methods
Leveraging data findings to implement improvements in the process
Preparing documentation for customers and suppliers pertaining to quality standards
Reviewing manufacturing instructions for completeness, correctness, and comprehension by assembly personnel
Generating standards for suppliers and internal processes

The Successful Applicant
3+ years of supplier quality engineering experience
Bachelors degree in engineering or closely related field
Understanding of AIAG core tools such as PPAPs and APQP
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes in the electronics space
Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
Exposure to ISO 9001 quality standards (AS9100 or IATF preferred)
Comfortable with travel around 25%
