Student Workers - Office of the Registrar

POSITION: Student Worker - Operations

REPORTS TO: Senior Operations Specialist

NORMAL WORK AREA: Office of the Registrar

Position Summary

Assists the department by providing the following services:

  • Electronic Indexing (I-Drive)/ Batching to AppExtender / Filing to Student Folders /

Scanning

  • Major/Minor/Certificate declaration processing
  • Degree/Enrollment Verification/Letters
  • Graduation/Diploma Processes

○ Graduation App, 100 Row & Fee, Review

○ Diploma Address Reminders

○ Internet submissions: Diploma address (backup general mailing address, FEPRA)

○ Degree Audit: DAA row and Audit to AppXtender (before conferral)

○ Diploma Complete Processed

○ Closing Records, after Degree Conferral

○ Diplomas Held on Campus

  • Assist with email boxes
  • Projects within the operations team and the SRS team of the registrar’s office
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education Required

A current SEU student!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Jenzabar EX Registration Module
  • Knowledge of Southeastern University degree programs, course offerings, and JICS

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • Strong inter and intra-personal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technology/software applications quickly

TRAINING TIME

  • Three months to learn details of main job duties and responsibilities
  • Six months to a year to perform all job-related duties with minimum supervision
