The Senior Digital Marketing Manager develops and executes digital marketing campaigns and manages owned and paid marketing channels to reach and engage educators with PBS educational content and experiences. This role involves close collaboration with the PBS LearningMedia marketing and content teams to plan, coordinate, and oversee the creation of email campaigns and customer journeys.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Define and drive email marketing strategy
Manage daily operations of PBSLM’s B2C email marketing program including marketing calendar, strategy, and content, building and deploying email campaigns, and measuring reach and engagement against KPIs
Lead our cross-channel marketing platform migration and develop and implement best practices and strategies to support audience segmentation to target audiences
Develop and execute specialized promotion and event email campaigns
Develop and manage external search engine marketing program and vendor, aligning strategically with PBSLM priorities and activities
Collaborate with the PBS Brand and Creative teams to ensure brand guidelines are followed in emails
Guide creative development and management of digital marketing assets and coordinate their delivery to vendors and PBS member stations, as well as other platforms
Lead team ideation sessions to innovate on development processes to improve efficiency and impact
Support other digital marketing work, including educator digital learning experiences, and other team priorities, as needed
Set up performance tracking, monitor and analyze results, share key learnings, and apply to ongoing efforts; keep up to date on digital media audience trends and share best practice
Requirements for success:
Minimum of five years experience in Digital Marketing, EdTech, and/or Communications in a non-profit and/or educational institution
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field. An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Passion for education and public service - experience in education a plus
Experience using and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and marketing platforms
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal and judgment skills
Demonstrated strong organization skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team in a highly collaborative environment
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals within the organization
Ability to set priorities, organize, and manage diverse activities to meet deadlines

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Drive, and Project Management Software (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Airtable)
