Senior Director, Business Ops & Strategy – Global Credit, Seller, and Collections (GCSC) Risk

As the Senior Director of Business Ops & Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision, managing the operating budget, and driving risk responsible growth opportunities across SMB and Consumer lending. In addition, you will act as the principal interface with finance and corporate development, develop and execute on a performance measurement framework, and aid in driving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute on GCSC’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with business and organizational goals and market trends.
  • Conduct comprehensive industry and peer-benchmarking analyses to identify strategy and performance opportunities and best-practices across SMB and Consumer Lending risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and initiatives that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Functional leader for budget and spend management planning and adherence oversight – covering the scale of hundreds of team members and tens of millions in annual operating spend.
  • Strategic partner and functional lead in the evaluation of investments or acquisitions.
  • Oversee the optimization of business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across GCSC Risk
  • Manage operating routines that facilitate decision-making, autonomy, leadership alignment, and team engagement, inclusive of staff meetings, operational reviews, leadership off sites, All Hands, etc. Set the agenda, participate in the meetings, document decisions, and communicate outcomes.
  • Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maximize resource utilization.
  • Drive engagement across GCSC Risk including team member communication channels, including town halls and organizational newsletters.
  • Foster collaboration and alignment across departments to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives and operational objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to functional teams, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of business planning and operations relevant experience in a large-scale, heavily matrixed, high-growth global function or business.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially with storyboarding and deck writing for diverse audiences
  • Data-driven and highly organized with superior project management skills.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $143400 to $285450
