Spring Musical Director

Responsibilities

Musical Director reports to the Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Fine & Performing Arts and is responsible for all aspects of the Spring Musical production, including, but not limited to:

  • Selection of musical
  • Scheduling
    • Auditions
    • Facilities use
    • Rehearsals
    • Performances
  • Submitting requisitions for rental/procurement of rights
  • Facilitating auditions
  • Rehearsal schedule and protocols
  • Coordinating cast, crew, lighting and sound design, musicians
  • Facilitating and coordinating with parents and parent organizations
  • Communication with administration, building faculty/administration, students and families
  • Overseeing all rehearsals
