The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Architect who can build the tools and dashboards we need for our innovative development pipeline.

What You'll Do

  • Craft powerful tools using JavaScript and native code to streamline our development workflow across mobile and web applications.
  • Enable automation of real world, in-app workflows on actual mobile devices
  • Enable engineers working on innovative hybrid web/app features to pinpoint issues with memory and performance.
  • Develop high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code in Typescript, javascript, objective-c, and Kotlin.
  • Integrate our automation framework with AWS, Browserstack, Jenkins
  • Write dashboards for reporting automation results to our Observability framework
  • Create tools to track system resource usage over time and compare results between runs on different builds, OS revisions, and devices.
  • Triage failures and create new features and tools to improve resilience of the overall system
  • Author new tests for continued verification of application functionality.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast paced development team, with clear, positive, and constructive communication.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Based in San Francisco or San Jose
  • Strong experience in Typescript/JavaScript and experience with at least one native mobile or desktop development language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift).
  • A passion for automation and building efficient development pipelines.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS device farm and BrowserStack
  • Familiarity with Splunk, NewRelic, Grafana, SQL database
  • Experience with SwiftUI, Storyboards, and Objective C based UI development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $124,000 -- $234,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
