SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
HYBRID ITO 2 DAYS A WEEK / NORTHERN SUBURBS
Our client, an Atlanta-based B2B agency specializing in government, non-profit, and cause marketing sectors, seeks a dynamic Social Media Coordinator to work on a contract basis. The role involves creating and managing existing content and social media platforms to promote this content. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, possess a keen eye for detail, and excel in managing high-quality content across multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write compelling articles and produce content on a variety of topics in alignment with campaign briefs and the agency's target audience.
- Works closely with the Senior Graphic Designer, collaborating with team members to further develop creative concepts and formats for social media content, ensuring consistency with their brand identity and objectives.
- Capture mobile video, manage settings, and utilize audio recording devices to create content for social media applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver content that exceeds expectations.
- Create and execute social media content strategies to promote multimedia, boost engagement, and expand the audience.
- Oversee the social content calendar and publish posts across multiple platforms, maintaining a consistent voice and brand identity.
- Broad background working within social media across platforms, preferably B2B, including a strong focus on META and LinkedIn.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a social media content editor with a strong portfolio of published articles and videos.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Solid experience in social media project management with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
- A passion for multimedia storytelling and a desire to innovate and experiment with new formats and techniques.
- Proficiency in Asana (or similar PM Software), Canva, and Meta is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field.
