We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, and detail-oriented Content and Social Media Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial in managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and supporting our brand’s online growth. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in photography, videography, social media management, and graphic design, and be comfortable working cross-functionally with other departments.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, and detail-oriented Content and Social Media Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This role is crucial in managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and supporting our brand’s online growth. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in photography, videography, social media management, and graphic design, and be comfortable working cross-functionally with other departments.
- Develop, produce, and manage storylines across various platforms, aligning them with organizational goals and campaign schedules.
- Create cohesive and engaging content across social media platforms, ensuring a consistent narrative.
- Innovate and present new ideas for content strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure content accuracy and alignment with the brand’s message and values.
- Manage and grow our social media profiles and presence, primarily Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Plan and schedule social media posts using tools like Sprout Social and Meta to maintain a consistent presence.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to adapt strategies in real-time, ensuring optimal engagement and reach.
- Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
- Contribute to the planning and production of video content, utilizing basic video editing skills to enhance digital storytelling.
- Assist in scripting, storyboarding, and planning video shoots to ensure engaging content that aligns with the brand’s voice.
- Operate basic video equipment during shoots or work closely with technical staff.
- Manage the archiving of video content and maintain organized files for easy access and reference.
- Participate in the planning and execution of events, ensuring content is tailored and optimized for event success.
- Provide support with event work and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in after-hours and weekends as needed to support organizational events and content capture.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure cohesive content strategies and alignment with broader company initiatives.
- Basic photography skills are required for creating high-quality visual content.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in photography, videography, social media management, and graphic design.
- Proficiency in Canva is a must. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
