These Skills Will Be Used To
Act as liaison between Fischer Homes and land developers, engineers, and geo-technicians for numerous internal departments and regions.
Design unique communities, plan the placement of homes, and estimate construction costs related to site conditions.
Understand the integrated nature of land planning, land development, landscaping, and home building.
Read and evaluate construction plans provided by our Engineering partners.
Provide recommendations (product and strategy) on new sections/communities as they become available for review and approval of the Division Manager and President.
Assist internal decision-makers in specific requests regarding the home site.
Coordinates with Architecture, Marketing, Options, and Information Systems to integrate process improvements.
Assists Site Design Project Manager and VP of Engineering and Site Design in plan review to ensure that plans are cost-efficient and are planned in such a way that product can be efficiently constructed on the site and meet government agency requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have the ability to multitask.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
