Our mission is to build and manage the foundational software of the Earth’s Biggest Catalog. Amazon’s Product Catalog is the substrate of the WW Stores business with broad impact on listing experience, shopping experience, physical stores, as well as end-to-end fulfillment operations. We offer data modeling and solution architecture for everything Amazon sells, every physical product, digital game, apps, prime video, alexa skills, home services, and powers entire businesses like Whole Foods, Amazon Pharmacy, Supply Chain by Amazon. Through these services, we enable millions of sellers and vendors to manage billions of products across Amazon's online marketplaces and physical stores world-wide in real-time. Leveraging highly scalable microservices, innovative new data models, unique big data solutions, and advanced machine learning algorithms, we produce a world-class, localized shopping experience for customers globally in their preferred language.

The catalog team is looking for a highly technical program manager who enjoys solving complex business problems that have massive global impact. You will own the key algorithms that dictate what product facts and merchandising information shows up on every Amazon detail page. This is an opportunity to have significant influence on the technical strategy and delivery of Amazon's key initiatives like expansion to new countries, new languages, new physical stores, new product lines and so on. Your breadth of impact will range from how sellers and vendors list their products with Amazon's catalog, to how products make it through Amazon's fulfillment centers and to how our shopping customers find and discover the products they love!

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. As a TPM, You Are Empowered To
- Interact directly with executive sponsors to define problems and deliver large scale cross-functional projects spanning many teams.
- Own projects from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions, coordinate delivery of high-quality solutions and drive adoption.
- Work closely with development teams to provide guidance on architecture, design, and priorities.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints.
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
