Senior Tax Analyst

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Big 4 or large regional tax experience, and experience with Compliance and Provision.

The Senior Tax Analyst role is a hybrid position with 2 days per week being in office. This is a client direct hire position.

Senior Tax Analyst Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Provide guidance and support to junior tax analysts on complex tax issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting purposes
• Review financial statements and general ledger accounts to identify potential tax issues or opportunities
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to taxes for management and external stakeholders
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization's tax position
• Participate in special projects related to mergers, acquisitions, or other business transactions

Senior Tax Analyst Requirements:

• Big 4 or Large Regional tax experience
• At least 3 years of experience (ideally 4+)
• Experience (or exposure to) both Compliance and Provision
• CPA a plus, but not required
• Public company experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
