What you'll do

Our Product Management teams work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative global group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for what's best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market.

As a Senior Product Manager for the Signing Product team, you will get a chance to work at the core of Docusign business, serving developers, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Signers at scale. You will focus on improving success KPIs for your customers, develop the roadmap, vision, priorities and lead the definition of our strategy to increase reliability and grow the value and use cases we provide to our customers. You will collaborate with other internal Product Managers to amplify impact and work cross-functionally with UX, Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, Ops and Field teams in order to bring innovative solutions and improvements to market.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Director - Product Management.

Responsibility

  • Apply your technical expertise developing APIs to contribute to Docusign leadership to enable intelligent agreement
  • Launch innovative and forward thinking products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Pricing, Legal, UX, and other cross-functional teams on developing a highly addictive solution that delivers short time to value to customers
  • Own your backlog and be able to advocate and deal with priority trade-offs between technical requirements and various Product priorities
  • Lead and drive the end to end strategy and product roadmap for your area
  • Advise key stakeholders across all phases of the life cycle
  • Work with Field teams to drive adoption and increase the stickiness to our existing customer base
  • Demonstrate expert team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others as well as the ability to drive teams to achieve results for complex, multi-faceted projects

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of experience and Bachelor’s degree OR 6+ years of experience and a Master’s degree
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills enabling the candidate to align strategy, customer need, research, data and industry trends
  • Experience working and leading cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Program Management, Data Science, User Research, and GTM business development roles
  • Experience bringing customer voice to the developer experience
  • Experience as a customer-centric developer and/or building developer products such as scaled customer-facing APIs, Dev Tools, version control systems, CI/CD, web and desktop applications, or similar
  • Experience in technical product management building enterprise cloud/SaaS products/services

Preferred

  • Excellent written communication skills including authoring multiple, complex and technical product requirement documents
  • Excellent communicator able to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to create shared understanding, resolve conflict, and obtain actionable consensus
  • Experience taking a product from concept to launch
  • Experience aggregating and synthesizing developer platforms and requirements to create scalable and reusable integration abstractions
  • Experience in delivering products using iterative or Agile methodologies, including modeling experiences using task/storyboards, user stories or use cases, etc.; and driving planning and execution using work item systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Experience reviewing business and performance insights to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience giving presentations to developers, writing developer documentation, and creating content or tools to help developers learn and build
  • Ability and willingness to implement sample applications and sample code snippets using contemporary programming languages (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, C#)

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $134,900 - $216,975 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $129,000 - $190,550 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
