Role
As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our innovative mobile and future desktop application. Working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, you will partner with a team of highly experienced engineers and product leaders to create compelling and user-friendly designs that drive our products' success. You will have endless opportunities to impact our fast-paced startup environment, contributing your expertise to drive the growth and success of our product.
You are a great fit if you are one of those deeply curious people who likes to build new things. You ideally have a track record of launching many different technology products from early idea to product in market. You have plenty of experience in customer discovery and architecting feedback loops to understand what works and what needs to be changed in products you’ve built. You have lots of design experience and a strong portfolio to showcase. You have lots of experience building consumer products (preferably consumer fintech). You’ll be able to provide lots of evidence working with high performing engineering teams and marketing teams. You must have experience in zero-to-one phase. You might even have founded your own startup.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs, translating them into intuitive and visually appealing UI/UX designs for our web application.
Design and conduct user testing and research to gain valuable insights into user behavior and preferences, leveraging this data to iterate on designs and improve overall usability.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to the development team and stakeholders.
Ensure consistency and adherence to design guidelines across all product interfaces, reflecting the brand's visual identity and maintaining a seamless user experience.
Balance creative design thinking with business objectives, recognizing the impact of well-crafted UI/UX on our product's success.
Requirements
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong focus on consumer applications.
A stellar portfolio showcasing previous work, including web app design and user testing examples.
Track record of executing UI/UX product design from zero-to-one of new product / company build
Deep understanding of user testing methodologies and experience conducting user research.
Must be scrappy, self-starting, with a strong bias for action and desire to move and iterate quickly.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, particularly Figma.
Startup experience as either a co-founder or early joiner of a fast-growing consumer-facing startup (
Exceptional collaborative skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
A strategic mindset with a strong business understanding, aligning UI/UX decisions with the overall product vision and goals.
Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts and provide constructive feedback to team members.
A self-starter with a proactive attitude, able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
