Senior Procurement Specialist

Position: Procurement Specialist (Hybrid Schedule Available)

Location: Southington, CT

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturer is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to add to their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing new suppliers domestically and internationally, maintaining existing supplier relationships, and ensuring optimal performance and supply chain efficiency. This position is located in Southington, CT, with occasional international travel required.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the selection process and integration of new suppliers
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
• Foster and sustain strong relationships with current suppliers to enhance supply chain performance.
• Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Director on special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proven experience sourcing and onboarding domestic and international suppliers
• Strong contracts negotiation skills
