The Role:

DailyPay is looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, Public Sector with a “get things done” mentality to join our team!

You will act as a data-driven internal consultant to business leaders to solve priority problems facing the business and work collaboratively to empower the Public Policy team and other cross-functional teams such as Business Segment Leaders, Compliance, Product and GTM teams to operationalize responses to Regulatory Changes and build strategic recommendations to drive business value for the Company.

You will also be creating and operationalizing frameworks and cadences across our broader Public Sector facing teams to drive transparency, progress, & help us scale effectively internally and externally.

You will be a key player in the Strategy and Operations team working closely with the DailyPay’s leadership team and cross-functional business owners to drive efficient business operations, manage and prioritize key strategic initiatives pivotal to organizational success, and optimize effective cross-functional execution.

This role is highly cross functional and requires an ability to take initiative, work with diverse internal and external stakeholders, and execute in a fast-paced environment on our highest priorities - understanding the needs of our customers and partners - and this Senior Manager will be instrumental in helping to realize our vision for DailyPay.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• In partnership with the Public Policy team and key internal stakeholders, track and develop DailyPay’s regulatory strategies in response to developing laws with primary focus on US then International
• Monitor ongoing regulatory, legislative and compliance efforts to ensure DailyPay business efforts continue to stay ahead of market developments
• Advise on and develop data-driven strategies to help Policy team advocate for policies related to DailyPay’s business priorities
• Support the execution of a strategic public policy engagement plan to drive forward business objectives
• Engage internal stakeholders to determine the company’s position, priorities, and risks in an evolving regulatory landscape and make strategic recommendations in response
• Lead cross-functional cadences and stakeholders in operationalizing responses to regulatory changes, partnering with product, legal, PMM, compliance, and GTM teams to strategize, implement and manage new operating models
• Partner with Product to scope, validate, build, and operationalize product and operating model changes
  
  

What You Bring to The Team:

• 7+ years in a highly analytical role: strategy and operations, operations, or management consulting with regulatory or public sector experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Creative, data-driven and strategic thinking and the ability to understand complex issues and identify clear and effective action plans to resolve them is desired
• Some experience navigating large data sets and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication to internal and external audiences including senior government officials and company executives is desired
• Adept at working with diverse cross functional teams (including but not limited to trust and safety, legal, product, research, comms, and marketing)
• Familiar with the process of designing and advocating for policy and regulatory proposals for consumer and/or enterprise tech products
• You thrive in ambiguous context to take action and can adapt quickly with passion for learning different parts of the business
• Direct management experience & high-growth startup experience is preferred

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
