Senior Manager, Sales and Technical Support – N.A.

Purpose of the Job

• Develop key customers and distributors in N.A. for X Ray Inspection (including but not limited to applications of AXI, F&B, NDT, and Battery)
• Interface with customers and monitor progress of projects and provide aftermarket services in N.A.
• Co-ordinate projects with head office in Singapore (Unicomp group’s international business HQ)
• Lead to establish US office for Unicomp Group

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

• Develop key customers and distributors in N.A.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers / distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Provide regular reports and market insights to senior management team based in Singapore
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of sales efforts to achieve overall business objectives
• Prepare and co-ordinate all proposal activities with head offices and US office
• Handle technical clarification for all proposals. Work as an integral part (with technology, engineering, production) in developing proposals, pricing strategies and customer presentations
• Ensure that the specifications offered to the customer are within the capability and capacity of the company

Manage activities of technical support in N.A. ensuring high quality and efficient support services:

• Ensure that all technical and commercial specifications are received, clarified and agreed with customer at order stage
• Supports customers per equipment delivered; provide services including system upgrade, trouble shooting and support contracts follow up
• Ensure training and readiness for new equipment and service launches
• Ensure that the customers’ requirements are adequately conveyed and reflected in engineering, manufacturing and installation
• Control all correspondences and documentation relating to projects in N.A.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Degree in Engineering
• 3 - 6 years of sales and customer services experience preferably in X RAY inspection
• Microsoft Skills
• Excellent in Spanish would be advantageous
• Independent contributor as a beginner of market development
• Business travel (<30%), particularly in N.A.
