Who we’re looking for:

Our Palm Beach studio is currently looking for a well-rounded and innovative Senior Interior Designer with high end Residential and Hospitality design experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a passion for design, willingness to wear multiple hats to help and manage a wide range of projects. As we are currently a very small team it is essential to be able to adapt and potentially help with tasks not spelled out below.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 annually, salary will be commensurate with experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide the team through taking luxury hospitality, commercial and high-end residential design projects from concept to completion.
• Produce on-brand design presentations and communicate design concepts, space planning and product selections.
• Coordinate and oversee project management inclusive of client meetings and site visits and the coordination of meeting notes and site photographs.
• Source new materials and products for hospitality projects and products for the Sarah Baeumler website as needed.
• Interface with vendors and subcontractors as necessary to coordinate production and project completion.
• Prepare all documents related to Materials Reference, Hardware, Sanitaryware, and Furniture Schedules and Specifications.
• Oversight of all CAD documentation and basic 3D models as needed. Coordinate with team on all CAD drawings to produce drawing packages and oversee the documentation process. Ensure all drawings meet the CAD standards.
• Own all phases of the Room Refreshes from client follow up, initial meeting through delivery of presentation package and Buying Guide.
• Oversee the procurement of all loose furniture, decorative lighting, art & accessories for a project and coordinate the delivery and installation. Assist in styling and site photography as needed.
• Assist with press releases, award entries and business development materials.
• Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry. Attend industry events to help increase the visibility of the Sarah Baeumler brand within the design community.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years design experience from concept to completion
• Demonstrated project management skills to oversee all aspects of a project
• Track record in providing stellar customer service and exceeding customer expectations
• Strong communication skills with ability to adjust style to appropriate audience
• Organized, detailed and ability to pivot with ease
• Flexible style and approach, friendly and no ego approach
• Comfortable in ambiguous situations where direction may not be available
• Resourceful, solution driven in the face of obstacles or questions
• Ability to “roll up your sleeves” in any project – teamwork is a must!
• MS Suite and CAD knowledge is required
• Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp beneficial
• Travel to job sites may be required in and out of country
• Preference will be given to candidates who have reliable access to a vehicle
