We're on a journey to build something new! Our team is building new Automotive discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their new vehicle of choice. We’re developing new customer experiences and seller tools to support the entire vehicle discovery journey.
We are seeking a Senior Dealer Performance & Compliance Manager to sit within our Seller (Dealer) Experience Team. This role will establish and oversee seller certification, performance measurement & inspection for Amazon Autos. They will own building and auditing accountability mechanisms by ensuring contractual and service level standards are adhered to. This includes influencing the development of seller training material and establishing mechanisms to enforce application of these standards. Where standards are not maintained, the role will be responsible for owning and utilizing compliance policies to take appropriate actions. This role will also own developing a seller certification and corresponding performance program which will require cross-team stakeholder alignment, continued audit and inspection. This role will work directly with stakeholders including dealers, OEMs, product managers, account managers, internal compliance teams, and business development. A successful candidate will be customer focused, highly analytical, resourceful, able to operate at all levels of the organization and comfortable driving critical business decisions in a fast paced and often ambiguous environment.
Key job responsibilities
You would own the strategic definition of key programs like dealer certification, standards, and incentives, from the ground up. A typical day would include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that address issues and promote dealer performance. Throughout the day, you would analyze data to detect themes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure they are implemented effectively. You would regularly update dashboards and prepare reports with insights into the program's performance to the executive team. You may also meet with product and marketing teams to develop badging and criteria associated for dealers to earn them, soliciting regular seller feedback.

We are collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for products in the complex automotive space. This role is part of the Amazon Autos, Vehicle Sales team.
Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Define strategies to ensure dealer behavior aligns with our customer experience standards by owning and leveraging both rewards and corrective action programs.
- Develop a tiered badging and incentive program for sellers. Partner with product managers to build the badging into the Amazon website.
- Incentivize bar-raising dealer behavior by identifying KPIs and leveraging rewards such as discounts, experiences, ads credits, and preferred badging.
- Partner to develop a code of conduct policy for dealers. Conduct ongoing data analysis to ensure adherence to the policy, audit behavior, and monitor corrective actions to ensure standards are maintained.
- Build a dealer certification program and dashboard to review key performance inputs such as account health, policy compliance, training completion, in-store materials compliance, mystery shops.
- Document and report service quality levels, ensuring consistent application of policies and processes. Partner with internally to maintain compliance and track policy violations, communicating & reporting on trends and risks.
- Ensure implementation and execution of auditing and operating mechanisms, including tracking goals, escalations, key program metrics, and forward-looking program needs.
- Conduct analysis to identify root causes of issues, brainstorm short and long-term solutions, lead stakeholder meetings to prioritize and align on implementation timelines.

- 6+ years of experience in program, product, or project management
- 3+ experience in managing risk management, compliance, or standards programs
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvement
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Automotive industry experience
- Proven ability to identify, analyze and solve ambiguous problems while managing difficult tradeoffs to meet time-sensitive deadlines
