Purpose
Provide full-service recruiting support and achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, providing guidance to hiring managers, interviewing candidates, making recommendations and administering relocations. Assist with budgets and contracts of associated staffing vendors.
Major Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, Talent Acquisition, responsible for managing day-to-day recruitment function including but not limited to the following key responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to build overall recruiting strategy: understand the needs of hiring managers and sourcing the best talent to fill open positions.
Continuously partner with recruiting team and managers to design, refine and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
Stay active with current job boars, social networks and platforms to find talent.
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; etc;.
Assists with new employee relocation by determining new employee or transferring employee’s requirements.
Assist with the administration of temporary staffing services by working with internal clients and the company’s third party vendor.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
Assist with deploying programs to increase talent pipeline for the future. In addition, network and develop relationships with universities and/or associations as needed.
Assist in developing a formal internship and/or college graduate program. Assist with managing elements of the program by conducting orientations; scheduling assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
Authority
Manage intake meetings with hiring managers independently and determine candidate needs for each open position.
Work independently to identify appropriate candidates for each opening and determine appropriate fits for interview.
Schedule and coordinate interviews independently and make final recommendations of candidates with hiring manager consensus.
Education

~ Bachelor’s degree preferred
Related Experience
Three to six years of work experience in the area of Human Resources, preferably within a recruiting capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient in Microsoft Visio
Working knowledge of SAP a plus
