General Summary

The Senior AP Analyst will be responsible for performing key accounts payable related functions and activities supporting the overall AP function globally. This role will require attention to detail, experience in full cycle accounts payable functions and be a strong team player with ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages and processes weekly payment runs for all international business units.
  • Responsible for reviewing the pay run batches sent by the regions to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for reviewing any banking/file errors and resubmitting payment files timely.
  • Daily review of International and North America cash movements.
  • Post payments for auto debits, voided/returned payments and record bank transactions for refunds/ overpayments.
  • Processes wires upon request from Treasury and the Tax Department.
  • Manage unposted cash processes to ensure all AP is posted for all business units.
  • Review and address all items that remain unposted after month end close, in connection with accounting.
  • Address all unposted travel card invoices with the responsible international team and ensure they are entered and processed in a timely manner.
  • Manage card issuance and cancellation for the North America Travel card program.
  • Manage approved limit adjustments as needed.
  • Pull monthly statements for travel cards and admin purchasing cards for monthly reporting.
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of 1099 forms for applicable vendors on an annual basis.
  • Review and approve Concur expense reports regularly to ensure any cash reimbursements are processed timely and company policies are adhered to.
  • Monitor incoming requests for new/cancelled Concur users, as needed.
  • Review all international aging reports regularly and work with the international teams to clear items over 30 days old.
  • Meet with Senior AP Manager and Senior Director of Treasury monthly on aging items and un-resolved items.
  • Review and post all AP Coordinator batches for North America.
  • Answer inquiries that come into the AP International mailbox and assign them to AP Coordinators as needed.
  • Support special projects as requested.
  • Act a back up and supporting role for Senior AP Manager

Education And Work Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ Years Accounts Payable Experience
  • Experience with international banking a plus

Skills And Knowledge

  • Basic/intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Basic/intermediate knowledge of domestic and international banking
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to speak, write, type and communicate effectively
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new concepts
  • Must be able to work independently and still be a team player
  • Project management and organizational skills
