Position: Seasonal Part-Time Sales Associate
Description: Bertrand’s Music is looking to hire seasonal sales associates to join our team for our upcoming busy rental season.
Candidates must be available to work July 1st through September 30th.
Responsibilities
Welcome and engage guests, providing exceptional customer service with warmth and efficiency.
Exceed guest expectations consistently, cultivating a reputation for exceptional service.
Maintain attentiveness to guests’ needs throughout their visit, ensuring a seamless experience.
Educate guests on our wide range of musical products confidently and informatively.
Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude, promoting effective teamwork and respect.
Foster positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and management through respectful and open communication.
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, effectively prioritizing tasks in a sometimes pressurized environment.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the store environment.
Possess general knowledge of Band & Orchestra instruments, assisting customers with expertise and insight.
Requirements
Must be available to work from July 1st to September 30th.
Mandatory onboarding on either June 26th or June 27th, depending on location.
Ability to work 15-20 hours per week in July, with the option to increase hours in August/September based on store needs and your availability, up to 40 hours per week.
Comfortable working outside school events and evening hours as needed.
Passion for the music industry and a solid understanding of Band & Orchestra Instruments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, embracing challenges with a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with a commitment to follow-through and prioritization.
Familiarity with general accounting and cash register operations.
