Bachelor's Degree -- Advertising, Journalism or Business degree preferred
1-2 years' experience in digital marketing, specifically paid search
Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills
Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Google Ads and/or Microsoft Bing
Solid understand of basic math, including algebra
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
Google Ads Certifications or willingness to become certified upon employment
Job Description
An employer is looking to add a Search Engine Marketing Specialist to their team. This person will be responsible for executing, growing, and maintaining advertiser campaigns. Each Search Engine Marketing Specialist provides support through reporting, ad trafficking, strategy recommendations, and daily optimizations to ensure success of our client's campaigns. Successful candidates have a high attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and strong organizational skills. They are responsible for executing paid search advertising campaigns as outlined on predetermined media plans and evaluating and preparing reporting insights and performance reports for external and internal use. They will assess performance against client's KPIs and make optimizations to maximize goals and monitor all campaign budgets and take ownership in the success of the campaign.
