[salon]718 is a successful salon business with five locations and a desire to expand its team. We are seeking a professional Salon Receptionist who is creative, driven, and passionate about delivering an amazing guest experience to join our team.
As the initial point of contact for both current and prospective salon guests, it is imperative that the ideal candidate embodies the salon's values and creates a positive first impression. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role collaborates closely with location managers and salon owners.
Duties include:
Greeting and handling all guest check-in/outs
Scheduling appointments based on timing and stylist skills
Answering a multi-line phone system, and directing calls as needed
Replying to client emails and online reviews
Community outreach for neighborhood businesses and residents
Planning salon business and events based on sales goals
Tracking inventory as well as entering new products into computer systems
Ordering salon supplies
Working closely with the salon's owner to plan salon events
The ideal candidate must have:
Outstanding written and communication skills
A friendly and inviting demeanor
Strong organizational skills, great follow-up
A willingness to assist other team members when needed
Previous salon or hospitality experience
Availability on weekday evenings and weekends is required
