TITLE: Sales & Business Development Manager

LOCATION: US Remote near major airport | Willingness to travel 1 week every other month

FLSA STATUS: Exempt Full-Time (Visa sponsorship not available)

COMPENSATION: Salary: $90k base + $20-$40k discretionary bonus (OTE $110-130k)

Who You Are:


Quota Crusher: You've got a track record of selling research services, slaying sales quotas, and exceeding aggressive dollar revenue targets. You know how to close deals and drive business growth and relationships at the C-Suite level.

Hunter: You have a demonstrated ability to effectively identify and pursue sales opportunities through high volume daily cold-calling, social media, and prospecting at events. Your experience as a new-business "hunter" is proven, but you also have the skills to build and develop long-lasting relationships and identify new targets.

Master Communicator: You're a pro at communicating complex research solutions in a way that resonates with customers. Your excellent communication and presentation skills help you align customer needs with the unique value proposition of our services.

Strategic Visionary: You're not just a salesperson, you're a strategic thinker who can see the big picture. You understand the value of data in IT markets and can analyze consumer data and industry trends to provide valuable insights to clients. You know how to turn data into action and help clients succeed.

Cross-Functional Team Player: In your previous roles, you’ve demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and leadership experience in preparing client proposals with colleagues in specialist disciplines.


Must haves:

  • ~3+ year history in quota-carrying outside B2B sales roles
  • ~3+ year history account management/upselling experience
  • Eligibility to work in US without restriction (no Visa sponsorship is available)
  • History of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in consecutive years
  • Track record of multiple sales awards
  • Excellent interpersonal and IT skills
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Keen sense of urgency and initiative
  • Willingness to travel extensively (1 week every other month)


Bonus points:

  • Bachelors degree in technical discipline (STEM)
  • Experience selling intangible services like research and consulting services
  • Employment type
