What you will do:

As the Recruitment Coordinator you will assist with the Department of Revenue’s employment and recruitment program.

Primary Job Duties Include

  • Creating job posting drafts, vacancy announcements, and job advertisements.
  • Monitoring applicant pools and screening applications to be forwarded to hiring managers.
  • Responding to information requests from selected candidates, management, outside agencies, and the general public.
  • Sending assessments to candidates and the results to hiring managers.
  • Maintaining the Employment and Recruitment email proxy boxes.
  • Assisting with maintaining recruitment-related statistical data.
  • Supporting the dual employment program and reviewing request for dual employment.
  • Assisting with career fairs and other special projects.
  • Maintaining the resume database and initiating contact with prospective applicants.

Either

Minimum and Additional Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience. OR
  • Relevant experience or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis with an approved equivalence by the Division of State Human Resources (DSHR).

Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning

And

  • A valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

These qualifications are not required but are considered when setting a starting salary.

  • Experience working in a Human Resources Department
  • Experience working in Recruitment
  • Knowledge of Human Resources laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Knowledge and experience with NEOGOV or SAP SuccessFactors

  • Training: As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will participate in on-the-job training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to successfully perform your job.
  • Hours: Flexible hours may be available from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week).
  • Telework schedule: This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
