Our client is a leading real estate development company dedicated to creating exceptional residential and commercial properties across Massachusetts. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transaction Coordinator to join their growing team! This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processes, from contract signing to closing, while managing all aspects of escrow accounts and associated documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the transaction process from contract execution to closing, ensuring all deadlines are met and all parties are informed of progress.
- Coordinate with real estate agents, buyers, sellers, lenders, and attorneys to facilitate timely and accurate completion of all transaction documents.
- Prepare and review contracts, addenda, and other transaction-related documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor escrow accounts, including deposits and disbursements, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Coordinate property inspections, appraisals, and surveys as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on transaction status and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain organized transaction files and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of closing statements and coordinate the closing process, ensuring all necessary documents are properly executed and recorded.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Transaction Coordinator, or similar role within the real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of real estate transaction processes, contracts, and legal documents.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in real estate transaction software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
