Primary Responsibilities:
In the role of Real Estate Services Agent 1, we’ll count on you to:
- Acquire Right of Way for our clients, meet with property owners and negotiate settlements.
- Coordinate right-of-way issues for clients - generally related to construction projects.
- Understand federal, state and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC and Uniform Relocation Act.
- Perform activities to support Real Property Projects such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination and utility relocation/coordination.
- Work independently and document and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, travel, show ability to handle large volumes of work and coordinate closely with management (since work performance impacts schedule and budget).
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Microsoft Office Suite product experience
- Strong editorial and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- General background related experience beneficial, including title, paralegal, real estate, real property law or mortgage lending
- GIS and database familiarity a plus
