Real Estate Attorney

Our Client:

This client is a highly successful law firm and they are looking for a Real Estate Attorney to join their team. This is an in-office position in Pittsford, NY. Salary is in the $85-110k range, with room at the top for the right individual. The company is known for taking care of its employees with an excellent benefits package, 401K, and a people-first environment. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Who We’re Looking For:

Do you have a solid understanding of Real Estate law and enjoy helping people throughout the process of buying their dream home or commercial building? In this role, you will be responsible for managing a variety of Real Estate transactions that includes meeting with clients, drafting and reviewing documents, and completing Real Estate contracts. You’ll also attend closings on behalf sellers, buyers, and mortgage lenders. There is also the opportunity to do some criminal defense work in the areas of family crime and DWI. A nice perk is this is generally a 9-5 role.

What To Expect As a Real Estate Attorney:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients involved in real estate transactions
• Review and draft contracts, leases, and purchase agreements
• Responsible for conducting due diligence on properties
• Work with clients to review new Real Estate contracts and documents, sign documents
• Attend Real Estate closings on behalf of seller, buyer, or mortgage lenders for both residential and commercial Real Estate transactions

Qualifications For Success:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the State of NY
• 1- 3 years experience as a practicing Real Estate attorney preferred
• Strong understanding of Real Estate law including zoning, land use regulations, and property rights
• Willingness to meet personally with all clients
• Takes pride in submitting work products of a high standard
• Excellent time management, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
