R&D Scientist
R&D Scientist An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an R&D Scientist at an innovative chemical manufacturer based in Oxfordshire. As the R&D Scientist you will be responsible for driving R&D projects in collaboration with the Team Leader. You will also be responsible for developing novel materials to contribute to sustainable alternatives. As the R&D Scientist you will have previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry. You will also be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Drive R&D projects – including manufacturing scale-up. Develop novel materials, Collect and interpret analytical data from projects. Support NPD. Liaise closely between the wider team. Conduct your own synthesis projects. Key Requirements: PhD in Organic Chemistry, or an MSc with previous industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry. Practical experience in organic synthesis. Previous experience with material science. Experience delivering new products to the market is highly desirable.
