Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. PhD preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, with a focus on assay development in the IVD industry
  • Strong expertise in molecular diagnostic assay design, optimization, and validation, with proficiency in nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, sequencing, and other molecular techniques
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO) and knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards for IVD products
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to design and execute complex experiments, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Proven track record of leading successful projects, delivering results on time and within budget, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
