Responsibilities
As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Quality employees, you will lead and manage Receiving Inspection employees at the Florida and Alabama manufacturing facilities across all shifts. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring inspectors have proper tools to perform inspections
Manage resources to address program driven priorities and maintaining output of the receiving inspection processes
Hiring and training of personnel
Identify, drive, and implement process improvement with Receiving Inspection leadership team
Enforce process, policy, and best practices as identified in command media and by Receiving Inspection leadership
Participate in program level conversations as a local liaison for product acceptance and Receiving Inspection
Maintain accountability on all equipment, recurring tasks, and updates for any activities within the work center
Facilitate change management
Operate within assigned budget

Travel of up to 30% between the Florida and Alabama locations expected.
Qualifications
Experience leading/managing teams to support quality management systems
5+ years of Quality assurance experience in production environment
Strong experience in leadership, planning, and project management
Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
Ability to support all manufacturing schedules as necessary
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired
3+ years in a leadership capacity
B.S. in Engineering or related technical subject area
Aerospace, space launch, military or commercial aviation experience
Relevant experience in a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development, through production to operations
Quality Management System audit experience
Mechanical inspection
Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, or comparable Certification
