Quality Assurance Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college

2-3+ years of experience in QA automation - specifically API testing using Postman, ReadyAPI, or REST Assured

2-3+ years of experience with Java background

2+ years of experience with Selenium Web Driver

Experience writing and building automation test cases/leverage test automation

Experience reviewing requirements

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Enthusiastic about software and software testing

Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking

Ability to self-learn and collaborate within groups

Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Job Description

An employer for a large insurance company is looking for a Jr. QA to join a team of 7-8+ team members to build automation scripts, test APIs, and perform webservices testing. This person will be doing functional testing around the RPA BOTS and the goal would be to automate this BOT process. This person will be building the automation testing and should know how to write & execute test cases.

· 70% will be manual testing & 30% will be automation testing. This will eventually shift as we continue to build more automation testing for the RPA bots.

**Role is 100% REMOTE but must work in PST zone**

**The employment would be for a 6month contract, with possibility to be converted to Full Time Employee based on performance**

Compensation:

$25/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
