Accelerant is building a new platform that will serve as the backbone of how risk is exchanged in the future. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the SaaS Platform development team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. Your primary focus will be automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for identifying and addressing software defects.
If you join our team, these are some of thing you’ll be doing:
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test software using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Review and provide feedback on code, architecture, and product requirements.
• Provide cross functional testing support to multiple engineering teams.
• Continuously enhancing and optimizing automated test suites for efficiency and coverage.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a high quality product release.
What you bring to the table:
• Proven successes delivering automated testing frameworks that are used by both developers and QA engineers to support high quality product delivery.
• Passionate about the use of automation to ensure we continuously test everything we deliver.
• Strong coding ability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn and grow.
Desired qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years software test development experience. • Coding experience in JS, Python, TypeScript. Bash/ Shell scripting.
• Experience with back back-end testing: Node, Docker, Postman, Microservices.
• Experience with end-to-end automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with data analytics platforms.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.
• Experience in the Insurance industry is nice to have.
