QA Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API
- Perform thorough integration testing using APIs, ensuring seamless communication
- Identify and report bugs and defects through a designated bug-tracking system (e.g.,
- Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to understand and translate product requirements into effective test strategies.
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest QA methodologies and best practices.
- 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Experience testing web, mobile, and/or API applications (a plus for all three).
- Strong understanding of integration testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases.
- Experience with Jira and/or ADO for bug tracking (preferred).
- Previous experience with TestRail (a plus).
- Experience working in the HCM (Human Capital Management) industry (a plus).
- Integration of the client's HCM core platform with third-party systems like Greenhouse Earned Wage Access / Daily Pay, ACA (SyncStream), and Worker's Comp—PayGo.
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
