A Brief Overview
The Quality Assurance Engineer helps to influence and support best practice testing techniques and performs automated testing as part of the software development life cycle. The Quality Assurance Engineer plans for and tests all software changes and ensures the changes meet requirements and the product conforms to the desired quality standard.
What you will do
- Design and develop test scenarios that exercise functionality and trace back to Acceptance Criteria
- Effectively leverage automation to help reduce manual testing time
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated regression suites
- Works closely with developers to isolate, reproduce, and troubleshoot defects
- Provide input on the overall automation strategy and test tools
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Works closely within an agile team on story creation
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years IT experience required
- 2-5 years Experience in one or more of the following: Selenium C#, JAVA, Github, Postman/SoapUI
- 2-5 years Experience with automated testing tools Preferred
- 2-5 years Experience with scripting detailed automated tests cases
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs
