Property Accounting Manager, 120K-125K+Bonus

LHH is working with a commercial real estate company in the Dallas area that is looking for a new Accounting Manager. This company specializes in offering high-quality commercial spaces tailored for businesses in the DFW area. They has been in operations for over 50 years, and they are looking for an Accounting Manager that can be responsible for the full-cycle accounting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial real estate background.

This position pays 120K-125K+ Bonus. This is a Hybrid position and in-office ONLY 2-3 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and uphold financial controls throughout the accounting department
• Facilitate the acquisition and disposition processes of commercial properties, collaborating with lenders to secure financing
• Generate monthly financial reports for multiple real estate companies
• Prepare comprehensive cash flow reports and conduct debt analyses for property owners
• Process monthly construction and management fees efficiently
• Supervise and manage all accounting operations, providing support for general accounting tasks such as payroll, month-end closing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare annual and quarterly sales tax reports, and contribute to the completion of annual tax reports
• Collaborate closely with property management to deliver monthly receivable reports, tenant default notices, and CAM reports
• Oversee risk management for all properties by collaborating with insurance brokers and tracking tenant insurance certificates within AppFolio

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Yardi experience is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in Property Accounting
• Efficient multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
