The City of Lancaster operates under a Council-Manager form of government, with the City Manager serving as the Chief Executive Officer and the City Council making policy decisions.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer at the City of Lancaster, TX. The Project Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks assigned by the Director of Public Works.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in project management and project engineering
  • Knowledge of project planning methodologies
  • Background in electrical engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Professional certifications or licenses in engineering are required (P.E.)
