Our client, a premier manufacturer in the high-end handbag and fashion accessory space, seeks a Production Manager to join their team in Melville, NY. In this role, you will oversee the construction and assembly of high-end handbags as part of the production and product development team. Working with renowned designers and companies such as Pottery Barn and Tiffany & Co., it is essential to have experience in producing high-end products. The ideal candidate will have experience in handbag manufacturing, including construction and assembly, and be a committed and influential leader passionate about high-end products. This is a unique opportunity to work with a prestigious product line sold in top retailers and to be a key player at one of the most highly regarded manufacturers in the US.
Production Manager (High-End Handbags/ Fashion/Accessories Exp Req) Responsibilities
Oversee the assembly of handbags and accessories
Supervise the assembly employees
Ensure high-quality control for products
Collaborate with managers on production priorities
Establish and refine production methods
Support leaders on various projects
Deliver reports on productivity and costs
Provide hands on assistance if needed

5+ years of production and assembly experience required
Experience With High-end Fashion/accessories Experience Required
5+ years of managing a team of 10+ required
