The Production Artist will play a crucial role in supporting the Design team in executing creative projects. The Production Artist will be responsible for translating design concepts into print and digital-ready artwork, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. The Production Artist will play a critical role in the success of our in-house vinyl production and installation operation to ensure branding quality and consistency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for design to learn and gain valuable experience, as well as develop technical skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Assist Vinyl Technician in the creation of templates and print-ready artwork for cranes, below-the-hook lifting devices, vehicles, signage, etc.
Learn to effectively operate and maintain vinyl printer / plotter for operation when Vinyl Technician is not accessible or on vacation
Assist Brand Managers and Graphic Designers in creating print and digital assets, including advertisements, brochures, business cards, presentations, packaging, social media graphics, and website elements
Prepare and organize files for production, ensuring proper file formats, naming, color modes, and resolution for printing and digital distribution
Collaborate with the Design team to maintain consistency in visual style, typography, and branding across all projects
Conduct quality checks on artwork to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements and brand guidelines
Support the production process by preparing files for prepress, reviewing proofs, and communicating with printers and vendors, as needed
Stay updated on industry trends, software updates, and best practices in design and production techniques
Ability to effectively navigate within a complex organization

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field. In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in an creative production role, where proven experience may offset the degree requirement.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
