The Product Operations Director helps EPDD leadership drive alignment against our vision and strategic priorities and then operational excellence, team health, and communications for our EPDD (Engineering, Product, Design, and Data) Organization.

Responsibilities

  • Objective: Ensure Engineering, Product, Design,and Product Insights teams are operating together as a cohesive, best-in-class team that creates impact. This runs across key areas like:
  • Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to hone and advance a holistic strategy for our product, and then facilitate cohesion, alignment, dot-connecting, opportunity finding, and cross-team clarity against priorities that deliver on that strategy.
  • Operations: Drive clarity and feedback loops for operational excellence including best practices against OKR progress, Product Planning and Product Reviews cadences plus high-level organizational templates, processes, and expectations.
  • Team and Talent: Help ensure complex problems are being solved, resourcing is unblocked, and teams are operating and communicating efficiently to deliver against key organizational priorities for members and customers. This role can also touch team and talent development, career ladders, learning forums, offsite/event content, and mentorship, to ensure a high-performing organization.
  • Communications: Drive intra-organizational and company-wide communications for the organization to ensure clarity and visibility across the company. Includes written communications, executive team check-ins, All Hands content, key Slack channels, quarterly and yearly guidance for prioritization, and more.
  • Special Projects: Can also act as product and/or program lead for emerging new product areas or large-scale, strategic enterprise-wide projects running across the company.

Qualifications

  • You have 8-10+ years of experience in product management a/or business operations adjacent to R&D teams. You are a thoughtful product thinker and builder.
  • You have strong leadership qualities, characterized by humility, hunger for impact, and high emotional intelligence.
  • You have the ability to thrive in a dynamic and results-oriented environment, with a passion for connecting strategy and innovation/design thinking to superior execution.
  • You make things happen in any and all contexts. You are a problem solver with bias for action and high clock speedYou are a highly organized, excellent communicator (both written and oral), with broad strategic product and business knowledge. You can communicate effectively with all audiences from executive to individual contributors.
  • You are effective at building strong working relationships across the company, including across teams like Engineering, Design, Product, Data Science, Product Insights, GTM, GM, Clinical, Care, and Finance teams.
  • You have interest in, passion for, or experience building AI products.
  • You have a commitment to excellence and impeccable ethical standards and integrity. You gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty and authenticity.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:

Zone A: $161,410 - $228,000 + equity + benefits

Zone B: $185,622 - $262,200 + equity + benefits

Zone C: $201,763 - $285,000 + equity + benefits

Zone D: $209,833 - $296,400 + equity + benefits

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.

Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. Your Recruiter can share details of your geographic alignment upon inquiry.

In addition to earning a base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Details of the Annual Bonus Plan, including performance metrics, target incentives, and potential earnings, will be discussed during the interview process.
