Procurement Analyst

- Responsible for writing, reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating contractual documents to achieve acceptable quality levels.
- Develops and nurtures close partnerships and relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership teams to support, advance, and propel key business goals and strategies.
- Assists in strategy development, competitive bid processes, contract negotiation, supplier management and risk assessments.
- Creates and maintains procurement dashboard reports that incorporate analysis of financial and procurement systems and other sources to ensure timely updates to management in support of business and financial planning as well as decision making activities.
- Utilizes Excel and other resources to develop functional reports that support procurement strategy as well as planning and analysis by extracting data from Workday Sourcing and Tableau and organizing data by expense category, department, expenses by project, data on purchase order completion, new supplier onboarding and other key metrics as needed by the department.
- Maintains the accuracy of procurement systems and supplier records by collecting required documents such as W-9's, NDA's, BAA's, and communicating with new suppliers to ensure a smooth transition to the new business relationship with NRECA.
- Drive and support process improvement related to overall sourcing and procurement processes.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement and sourcing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and proven problem-solving skills.
- Assists on complex special projects and other assignments as directed.
- Provides ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
