Process Technician - Contract To Hire Details
Contract to Hire position
$ 33.00 / hour
Various shifts available
Set up and maintain plastic injection molding machines and equipment to produce high- quality products that meet customer specifications
Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and quality output
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machines and equipment and implement corrective actions
Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to improve quality, efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure that products are manufactured to customer specifications and quality standards
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk upstairs and maneuver in and out of molding machines
Perform colorant and material changeovers – label blenders, grinders and storage containers accordingly
Clean loader pump filters on mezzanines
Remove gates from secondary equipment catch drawers when press is color changed
Weigh and record scrap resin that is being removed to dumpsters (purge, contaminated, regrind, contaminated resin, contaminated parts, contaminated colorants, etc
Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote)
Process Technician - Contract To Hire Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent
Area of Study: Emphasis on mathematics, and mechanical or similar
Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions
3-5 Minimum Years of Experience completing mold changes
1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience as plastic process technician
3-5 Minimum Years Of Experience Within The Automotive Industry
