Principal Consultant (360 Tech Desk) | Relocate to New York City! Hybrid
What we're looking for
We’re looking to hire Principal Recruitment Consultants with the capability to become future leaders for Parallel, as our business continues to expand its global reach. You will be supported by a highly collaborative team and will be provided all of the tools necessary to do your job to the best of your ability.
The Role
The focus of the role will be the recruitment of mid-to-senior level staff within the business verticals. You will be assigned a specific functional area in which you will be expected to become a highly regarded specialist and market expert.
Using a variety of business development techniques, you will be expected to proactively win new client & business relationships and manage the sales and recruitment life-cycle from start to finish.
You will work closely with existing clients and further relationships that result in billing opportunities for yourself and other team members.
Negotiation of contracts and business terms with both clients and candidates.
You will be responsible for finding and selecting suitable candidates for your vacancies using a variety of candidate generation techniques such as advertising, database searching, social & professional networking, referrals and head-hunting.
You will help prepare candidates and clients for interviews and will manage subsequent job offers to ensure desirable outcomes for all parties.
Working as part of the wider sales team, you will work in accordance with company procedures such as following sales process, updating database systems and sharing information for the best interest of the company.
You will contribute to the positive, team-orientated company environment.
You will be expected to achieve a financial sales target in line with company expectations.
You will be expected to achieve key business indicators that will include (but not be limited to): Placements made, Vacancies found, Client meetings booked, interviews arranged and new candidates sourced.
Skills & Experience
Degree educated or significant B2B sales experience
4+ Years Full Desk Recruitment experience
Engaging communication style
Proven Business Development record within recruitment in the Technology market
Experience with Financial Services industry a plus
