Payroll Specialist

Our client is actively seeking a Payroll Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This individual will support key payroll related initiatives to include providing backup for weekly and bi-weekly processing, and serving as the technical liaison for assigned functional areas within their current HRIS system – UKG Pro. This is a collaborative environment for someone looking to grow their skillset as a Direct Hire member of their team.

Location: Frederick, MD (in-office)

Salary: $60k-80k (will be based on experience)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Payroll experience
• Multi-state processing
• Handling payroll for 500 employees
• Strong attention to detail
  

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
• Serve as a liaison to answer timekeeping and payroll related questions, implement enhancements, and resolve any issues.
• Recommend process and customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes that will reduce turnaround time.
• Must have excellent people skills, strong communication, and the drive to problem solve and create a great employee experience.
• UKG/UltiPro experience highly preferred
