Description: The Preschool Teacher is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and teaching ECFE and School Readiness curriculum. Utilize and co-teach the model including Early Childhood Special Education students/teacher. Work with the Early Learning Coordinator.
Other Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
Plan and conduct the daily program activities
Prepare program materials to implement the plan for daily activities.
Maintain a stimulating environment for the program.
Observe, record, and report on children’s behavior and progress.
Maintain a good relationship with other WEM staff and parents, including conducting parent conferences.
Attend in-service training sessions and appropriate professional development opportunities.
Perform other duties as required.
Direct an inclusive preschool classroom supporting ECSE students and staff
Facilitate program growth and expansion
Some evenings may be needed for teaching ECFE to children and families
Qualifications: Valid MN teaching license with Early Childhood.
Location– Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School District. The Early Learning classroom is housed in the Waterville Elementary Building in Waterville.
Starting Date: 2024-2025 school year, with summer 2024 organizational preparation time available
