Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma
  • Technical Degree/Certificate Program
  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience:
  • At least one year of office experience performing similar tasks.
  • Experience working in a law firm or a government agency or office setting.
  • Experience reviewing legal or financial documents.
  • Experience creating letters, notices, and other legal documents.
  • Experience in proofreading.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Professional demeanor.

Job Duties:
  • Review charities' annual financial disclosures with precision and attention to detail.
  • Generate complete and accurate legal notices to address deficiencies in financial disclosures.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals to support various legal processes.
  • Prepare and create legal documents, letters, and notices.
  • Review and organize legal and financial documents.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing legal files and records.
  • Conduct legal research as required.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support legal operations.
  • Handle correspondence and communication professionally.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal briefs and reports.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal information.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Professional and ethical conduct.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

Misc. Information:
  • Work hours are generally from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility for start/end times if selected.
  • No parking available.
  • Close proximity to subway and bus transportation.
  • Employees who are vaccinated must submit proof of vaccination status to Human Resources.
  • OAG offices have returned to a "masks welcome" policy, with exceptions for recent COVID-19 exposure.
  • There is no specific dress code policy, but professional and neat attire is encouraged.
  • This role requires onsite work with no remote or hybrid options.
  • Interviews can be conducted either onsite or virtually.
  • A detailed in-person training process will be provided to new hires.
